Go ahead, cry scandal: it's for tourists. Fine, leave them the best tables, and I'll sit here. Beyond the atmosphere, you find careful cuisine and impeccable service. Expensive, perhaps, but you pay for the view and the absolute privilege of eating literally on a rock, in the middle of the sea.
