About
Tarántula is Mexican cuisine of a kind rarely found in Paris. Chef Emmanuel Peña Treviño, a native of Monterrey, works with the flavors of Northern Mexico using plenty of chilies, French products, and real freedom in the dishes. People come for the tacos, of course, but especially to discover a much broader and more personal cuisine. In the evening, I also love the atmosphere: dim lighting, music, mezcal… It's lively, sexy, and perfect for a date or a dinner with friends.

Book if you want to be sure to have a table. Walk-ins are possible, but I would save them for a spontaneous last-minute attempt. Once there, definitely don't just stop at the tacos: order several plates to share to discover the cuisine, then continue with a mezcal or a Margarita.
